Production and logistics
Our chain of good food needs production employees, as well as production planning, control, management and logistics professionals. We are proud of the work we have done and the solid expertise we have built through working. Our logistics ensure that the consumer gets the products fresh through an unbroken cold chain.
Information Management
Industrial production at Atria’s scale is made possible with technology, automation and systems. Our supply chain extends from the farm to the consumer’s refrigerator. Fast action and chain traceability are the cornerstones of our operations. That’s why we make sure that information also moves in a lively and controlled way.
Technical functions
We keep our machines running and our facilities in good condition, as this is a prerequisite for our operations. We prefer to be proactive about fault situations. In addition to good planning, it is necessary to understand maintenance as a whole. Clear roles, close monitoring, a good flow of information and quick thinking are needed.
Financial administration
Atria is a listed company, which makes Atria’s external financial reporting challenging and interesting. We produce reliable and predictable financial information to support the company’s decisionmaking. It is an honour for us to be able to achieve our common goals.
Staff restaurants
We make good food that makes us feel better on a daily basis. Atria has several staff restaurants in Nurmo and other locations. We understand quality because we serve good food professionals.
Sales
We want to offer our customers the best possible services and solutions, from extensive product packages to small everyday insights. In sales, we serve independent retailers, retail chains, wholesalers and central stores, as well as our private and public Foodservice customers.
Marketing
Marketing is so much more. Our task is to find out who this work is done for, why and how. Our team works in close cooperation with both our own employees and the customers. Work is carried out in a consumer-oriented manner in product development, production, quality organisation and sales, for example.
Product development
In product development, the focus is on the future. We develop new products, answer for product recipes and plan the manufacturing process of products in cooperation with production and marketing, among other things. We also participate in studies that promote product and packaging solutions, as well as nutrition.
Quality and product safety
At Atria, we invest in state-of-the-art quality control. We continuously evaluate the quality of our operations and not only the safety of our products but also their healthiness, ease of use and environmental impact throughout their life cycle. This is Atria’s Way of Working, and this is also what the authorities and customers expect from us.
Laboratory
We want to ensure the hygiene and quality of our products and production. Samples are taken on farms, from meat and other raw materials during the production process, and from finished products. In our accredited laboratories in Nurmo and Kauhajoki, we carry out, coordinate and report on statutory and other tests related to our self-monitoring and product development.
Personnel and welfare services
We have a healthy and competent staff because we support and encourage Atria employees in developing their skills and maintaining their physical and mental fitness. Whether the issue is related to recruitment, salary and employment matters, staff development, or occupational safety and wellbeing, we are always ready to help.
Primary production
Good food grows on Finnish farms. We offer our expertise in our producers’ daily lives and help focus on the future as well. We procure meat from Finnish livestock farms, provide support for farms to develop production, and produce feed for cattle, pigs and poultry.
