Welcome to Atria's Kauhajoki production facility
Atria is a company that attracts various groups of visitors. All visits must be agreed in advance with your host at Atria.
General instructions
All visitors must always be accompanied by their host when moving around in the plant area and in the facilities.
Children (under 18 years of age) are not permitted to enter our plant areas for safety reasons.
Photography is not permitted.
Taking photographs and videos is always subject to a separate permit in Atria's plant area and, in particular, in production facilities.
The use of intoxicating substances is prohibited.
Bringing intoxicating substances or narcotics, using them or being under their influence in the area is prohibited.
Smoking is prohibited.
This also applies to electric cigarettes and snus. There is a designated smoking area outside the fenced plant area.
Instructions for visitors to the productions facilities
Product safety is the key quality requirement. For this purpose, everyone visiting the production facilities must adhere to the rules set for personal hygiene and procedures.
You are only permitted to visit Atria's production facilities if you are healthy. Please note that it is not permitted to visit Atria's production facilities and access to the plant area can be rejected if:
- you have a high fever or a cold, a skin, nose, throat, eye or ear infection, or diarrhoea
- you have visited a country with a coronavirus epidemic within two weeks
- you have symptoms suggestive of coronavirus infection, such as high fever with respiratory symptoms such as cough and / or shortness of breath.
- you have been in contact with a person suffering from coronavirus infection, tuberculosis or cholera in the past few weeks
- in the past 48 hours, you have visited a farm with an easily transmittable animal disease, such as African swine fever (ASF) or foot-and-mouth disease.
- in the past 48 hours, you have been on a hunting trip or handled uncooked pork in a country with ASF.
- you have visited a country where avian influenza has been confirmed within four weeks.
Personal hygiene
When visiting our production facilities, you must always wear special clothing.
The host will guide visitors to the dressing room and provide them with the protective clothing required in the production facilities:
- coat
- trousers
- shoe covers or safety shoes
- hair and scalp cover
- beard cover, and respirator in specific departments
The use of jewellery is prohibited in our production facilities.
Any jewellery must be left in a place indicated by the host during the visit.
Any nail polish or artificial nails must be covered using protective gloves throughout the stay in our production facilities. The use of nail polish is prohibited when working in production.
What is not permitted?
The following are strictly prohibited in our production facilities:
- the use of a mobile phone and photography
- eating and drinking, including sweets and chewing gum
- keeping hair uncovered, brushing hair
- touching the face or scalp
- applying make-up or lip balm
- sitting on worktops or on production lines or equipment
- touching products, raw materials or packaging materials
- bringing personal belongings into the production facilities
