Atria's operations in the Baltic countries and Russia are being developed and reorganised from 1 November 2007. Atria Baltic operations will become the responsibility of Juha Gröhn from 1 November 2007. Mr. Gröhn will continue as the Managing Director of Atria Finland Ltd and the Deputy Managing Director of Atria Group Plc. In addition, he is responsible for Atria Group's primary production and meat raw material procurement. Juha Ruohola will continue as the Managing Director of Atria Russia and OOO Pit-Product. In addition, Mr. Ruohola is responsible for Atria Group's entire purchasing and investments. Ghrön and Ruohola report to Atria Group Plc's President and CEO, Matti Tikkakoski. Atria's operations in the Baltic countries will focus on Estonia and the country manager will be changed. Simultaneously, the Managing Director of AS Valga Lihatööstus and UAB Vilniaus Mesa will change. Raimo Kirmanen has held a key role in the integration of Atria Baltic operations and in focusing the Baltic operations in Estonia. Mr. Kirmanen has been appointed Industrial Sales Manager for Atria Finland Ltd, effective from 1 November 2007. In his new task, Mr. Kirmanen reports to Atria Finland Ltd's Sales Manager Pentti Jukola. Food engineer Kari Körkkö has been appointed the country manager of Atria Baltic operations and the Managing Director of AS Valga Lihatööstus and UAB Vilniaus Mesa, effective from 1 November 2007. Mr. Körkkö has over 20 years of experience in the food and meat industry. Before starting work with Atria, Körkkö worked for ten years as the country manager of Raisio Group plc's Polish operations.
