Changes in Atria Plc management                                                 

Atria Plc announces the following changes in the Group management. Atria Finland
Ltd's Managing Director Juha Gröhn, M.Sc. (Food Sc.) has been appointed Managing
Director, Atria Scandinavia AB effective 1 September 2010. Mr Gröhn will        
continue as Atria Plc's Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO, and he will be 
responsible for Primary Production and Meat Raw Material Procurement. Mr Gröhn  
joined Atria Group in 1990. He has been the Managing Director of Atria Finland
Ab since 2006 and Business Area Director of Atria Baltic since 2007. Atria 
Scandinavia AB's current Managing Director Michael Forsmark has accepted a
position in another company and will be leaving Atria in September. 

The President and CEO of Atria Plc, Matti Tikkakoski, M.Sc. (Econ.), will be    
appointed Atria Finland Ltd's Managing Director effective 1 September 2010.  Mr 
Tikkakoski, President and CEO of Atria Plc since 2005, has solid experience in  
the field of Finnish consumer goods retail trade. He will continue as Atria     
Plc's President and CEO.                                                        

Atria Plc's CFO Tomas Back, M.Sc. (Econ.), will be appointed Business Area      
Director Atria Baltic as of 1 September 2010. He will continue as CFO of Atria  
Plc. Mr Back has been CFO at Atria since 2007. From 1990 to 2007 he was with    
Huhtamäki Oyj, working in international positions in the economic and financial 
affairs department. Atria Estonia's Managing Director Rauno Väisänen reports to 
Tomas Back.                                                                     

From 1 September 2010, the Business Area Director in charge of the business     
areas will be                                                                   
- Atria Finland, Matti Tikkakoski                                               
- Atria Scandinavia, Juha Gröhn                                                 
- Atria Russia, Juha Ruohola                                                    
- Atria Baltic, Tomas Back                                                      

These changes aim to improve Atria's market position and strengthen             
international managerial competence in Atria's operations. Atria's vision is to 
be the number one choice for consumers and customers in fresh foods in the      
Baltic Sea region and European Russia. Improvement of the profitability of      
international operations, overall strengthening of the Group's market position  
and organic growth are the main goals for the near future.
